I'm on my way home from the factory right now. Here's a quick update on how my field trip to my Milwaukee factory went with this week's updates.
Hi all, I'm cruising along and wanted to just give you some updates. The onsies are done and have arrived! If you donated at the $35 level, please check out an update I did just for you with info! For the rest of you, here is what is up!
SURVEYS: If you haven't yet, please fill out the survey I sent you via Backerkit to finalize your order. Check the email you used for your donation. There are still about 100 surveys which haven't been answered yet and I can't send you an order, if I don't know what you want or where you want it sent.
MATERIALS: All material has arrived at the factory (except for the back ordered sweatshirt material). We are still waiting for zippers which are being dyed to match all fabrics. I hit a snag with the studs I was going to order (as the factory I was working with upped their minimum order from 5,000 units to 25,000 units. I only need 4,000 so I had to find another supplier, which I did and they are currently in transit to my factory.
PRODUCTION SAMPLES: I am waiting now from my factory to get the production samples to move forward with the Sweatshirts (in Navy and Cobra Grey) as well as the LBBD. We are shooting to get these samples done by mid-Oct. The Tunic Sample will be done by beginning of November. Although we already did one sample for each style which you saw on the Kickstarter, we are doing each size to confirm pattern dimensions and factory quality. Once everything is right, I will sign off on the quality and the production will commence.
PRODUCTION TIMELINE: I am working to begin production on all items (except the sweatshirt in plum) by end of October/early November to be ready for shipping by December. Fingers crossed everything will work out. I am working hard on this everyday to ensure things go as smoothly as possible!
Hi everybody! Its been really bonkers around here. Finishing my Kickstarter right as school was starting has been a bit hectic, but I'm up for the task! I've been busy ordering materials and getting the preproduction wheels rolling. Here is my week two update. Watch this video or check for the summary below!
1) Backer Surveys coming next week! If you preordered any garments, expect a backer survey in your email next Monday or Tuesday where you can select your size and color. I'm using a third party service called BackerKit to help streamline the process, so expect an email from them. If you wish to add on any additional garments to your order, you can do that with Backerkit as well.
2) Sweatshirt Material Issue: I have been ordering my material for the last few weeks and the Black and Plum material for the sweatshirt is backordered. The black is only backordered by a few weeks, so hopefully I can stick to my original timeline of getting out by late November. The Plum will not be available until November so I won't be able to ship the plum out until December/January. To make up for this issue, I have added a navy color to the offering, so if you want a similar color to the plum and need it sooner, you can switch to the navy. If you want to stick with plum, please be aware that it will come a month or so later then the other sweatshirts.
I will keep you updated on the black, but as I anticipate it being the most popular color, I am going to bend over backwards to get the black sweatshirts out as close to the scheduled November ship date as possible.

I can't believe it! This Kickstarter is done and with your help, we raised FORTY THREE THOUSAND DOLLARS! (It looks so much larger in word format!) $43,000! Holy cow!
